The Why

I have always been dedicated to serve the wind industry with lightning protection solutions, both during my PhD at DTU, and later via my commercial work at first Highvoltage.dk, Testinglab Denmark, GLPS and latest Polytech. Besides the professional services provided, I have always enjoyed and benefitted from the research collaboration across an international lightning and wind turbine community.

Now it is time to turn the page again, and focus on what I find obvious….

In my new setting, I will again take part of the game where engineers solve problems by stretching the limits of known technology and exploring the use of new disciplines. I will support any industry with my electrotechnical skills gained at university and consolidated during my 20+ years of professional career. I will share my insight in high voltage engineering, lightning protection, Multiphysics, industrial application of innovative ideas, IPR, etc. I will dwell on your technical issues and find solutions together with old friends and colleagues specialized in their respective fields.

Upvious was founded on the belief that problems still need a solution, and that clever engineers working together can in fact provide those solutions. Upvious will turn into a community, where the talented and experienced engineers become partners in the common quest of delivering decent engineering, and nothing but that.
